A Joyful Noise Music Studio Presents:
2010 Summer Class Offerings Looking for a way to spark your kids’ interest in music? Already studying music and looking for something new? Have you always wanted to learn a new instrument? If so, please consider joining us at A Joyful Noise for some of the exciting classes we have to offer this summer! Private music lessons and group guitar classes are also available all year long.
Here are some of the classes that we are offering this summer!
Rock Band Camp— Students of all ages and abilities are matched up in groups and compose music, write lyrics, learn how to play, record, and perform their own original work with the help of our talented staff. Each student will take home a CD of their recording complete with their own cover design. Day/Time: Monday-Thursday 10:00am-1:00pm every session. Beginner Guitar Classes—Have you been thinking about giving the guitar a try? This summer is a great time to start! Students will learn how to tune their guitars, the basics of chords, strumming, and rhythm, and will work on simple songs. Classes will be available during all sessions. 4-8 per class.

Intermediate Guitar Classes—These classes are designed for students who can play basic chords. Students will expand their knowledge of chords, chord progressions, riffs, and solos as they learn songs by a specific artist or style of music. 4-8 per class.

Beginner Drum Class—This class is designed for beginner drum students ages 8 and up. Students will be introduced to the parts of the drum kit—snare drum, hi-hat, bass drum, cymbals and toms. Students will learn proper form, basic drum beats, and different styles of music in a fun environment. 2-6 per class Day/Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30-7:45pm Cost: $90 per student per 2-week session Click Here to sign up, or to contact us for more information!
Summer Private Lessons Private lessons are also available throughout the summer for the following instruments: Piano, Guitar, Bass, Voice, Drums, Violin, Cello, Viola, Clarinet, Flute, Oboe, Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, and Banjo!
