Kim Strnad, Violin Teacher Kimberly Strnad is a contractor of A Joyful Noise Music Studio in Fenton, Michigan, where she is a violin teacher. Kimberly began violin instruction at age eight in Flushing Community Schools. She participated in competitions every spring from age nine to age seventeen, scoring first and second place. Kimberly began learning the violin in Fifth Grade strings at Flushing Community Schools, later studying under Davin Pierson Torre from the Flint Symphony Youth Orchestra, Beverly Austin of the Flint Symphony and Carlton Woods at Central Michigan University in the Honors Chamber String program. Later, Kimberly secured a full ride scholarship from Mott Community College for two academic years studying with the late Jim Lee for purposes of performing Schindler’s List. Kimberly has taught private lessons in Flushing, Brighton and Howell over the last ten years, including conducting a youth orchestra at Linden Charter Academy in Mt Morris Township. Since 2002, Kimberly has been happily married to Matthew. Kimberly resides in the Flushing community and works full time during the week as an insurance agent. She is involved in her church orchestra program and plays private parties. Kimberly joined A Joyful Noise Music Studio in the Fall of 2009. |
