Paul Engard

Paul is a retired accountant who has always had music as a hobby.
He started playing the cello more than 50 years ago.
He hashad more than 15 years of private lessons from professional cellists.
Paul's dad was a bass player and he did some bass playing, including in a
rock band in the 1960s.  The cello prevailed in his college years and
has remained Paul's favorite instrument.

Cello playing experience over the past 50 years includes:
      -  Playing in several community orchestras
      -  Solo and small ensemble playing

Current playing activity:
      - Member of the Lapeer community orchestra
      - Church solo and accompaniment work

Paul Says:


"I believe that music should be enjoyable and inspiring for both the musician
And the audience.   This philosophy, along with years of studying
under and playing in orchestras and other groups with professional
musicians, has blessed me with lots of practical musical knowledge
which I love to share with students."
